About Melissa Ross

Howdy!  My name is Melissa Ross and I am an artist in Laramie, Wyoming.

I graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Art. During my sophomore year in college, I spent a semester attending Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy. My time studying art in Italy was a life-long dream. My focus was on oil painting, sculpture, and art history. It was there that I learned to appreciate and admire the impact that art has made throughout history from political empires, religion, and shaping society. Today, I believe art and design strongly impacts day-to-day living through its modern communication.

Outside of art, I am a mother of 2 beautiful daughters, a wife, and have 2 amazing border collies! I believe through color and form, you can communicate the energy of the piece.  I feel most expressive with vibrant colors. My goal through my art is to inspire others to pursue their own dreams!
